use sponge to soak paper

mix ecoline yellow with warm grey and yellow ochre and apply wet on wet on soak paper

painting other area

inspire by bruno mars ‘just the way you are’

first time to test Saunder waterford which I would like to try for the long time.
buy from Siam art.
The papaer easily paint good absorbant with water a little bit slower dry compare to canson Montval,
so it suitable for wet on wet technique.

soak paper with water,mix yellow ochre Ecoline with warmgray dilute with water,then paint while paper still soak.

Dilute Ecoline turquoise blue and then paint on hair,and other area.
this pic use complementary color scheme.

dillute ecoline pale red then paint in skin area and area that touch some light.
Dilute Shinhan Vandyke brown then paint on dress area.

mix purple with warmgray and then paint on the shadow area

dilute Sennelier Sepia then paint on shadow area

Dilute blue tone in whitenights 36 pan I can’t remember exact tone,but it should be
Pthalo blue and some blue-green and then paint on detail.

Hi, again. Thank you for the quick response to my question.

I would like something similar in style (more like a painting, softer lines) and size to the first picture – a past commission of yours, I believe – with a similar color scheme (my website colors are teal and cream). Except instead of a girl holding a butterfly, I want it to be me playing my flute. The picture titled “me flute formal” is me. Background makes no difference to me (flowers, etc.), as long as it compliments the colors on my site. I’m wanting to use the image on businesscards and as the banner on my homepage (I’m a professional musician). So, if I could be more off to the right side of the picture with more background space on the left – just like in the past commission – that would be great.
