Client country:United Kingdom Pawel Brief:On all three artworks I would like to have both main characters from the movie - Ney'tiri and Jake (in his human body) - shown in a full body mode. I haven't really thought of a pose for either of them as this is probably something you would like to do yourself, but these images are supposed (amongst other things) to show the size difference between both characters. An average Na'vi is about 10 feet tall (Ney'tiri was slightly shorter than that, I believe) and Jake was played by Sam Worthington, who measures 5'10". resourcehttp://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Jake_Sully process http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com/ The purpose of each of these artworks is to show interpersonal connection between both characters. It could be either a straightforward romantic image, with Ney'tiri holding her beloved man in her arms, or it could be an action pic, showing Ney'tiri in one of her trademark "back off from him" poses, ready to defend her lover. And since she's not the only warrior in this pair, perhaps she could be carrying him in her arms while Jake's busy shooting a large automatic rifle? I imagine there could be a lot of ideas for an artwork like this and I'd love to see you come up with something nice. The only cryteria to be met are: the characters are both in love; Ney'tiri is always eager to fiercely protect Jake; and Jake may be a cripple but not in his heart. I'm not sure how you feel about more dynamic images (like that idea with Jake shooting a gun). If you'd rather prefer to do romantic images only, I'm happy with that. Also, I noticed that portraits seem to be your artistic specialty - I hope you won't mind working on three full-body pictures? About the technique - what sort of drawing and colouring style do you think would work best here? I'm kind of leaning towards the watercolour idea, as it is often the medium of amazing artistry, but perhaps you'd prefer to work in something else? These three images will most probably hang on the wall in our bedroom, framed, one next to another, so watercolours would probably be best. All three artworks are to work as a set, if you know what I mean. I'd like them to be compatible. In both artistic and design meaning. Something that will look gorgeous when displayed in a group of three. ...so it would probably be best if all three images were of the same type - full body scale. But you're the artist, you're the designer. Do you perhaps have another idea? Do you think maybe one potrait of the lovers and two full body images would work better? Or some other combination of image types, like one with Ney'tiri standing with Jake in his arms and another with Ney'tiri kneeling/crouching next to Jake on his wheelchair? I'd love to know your opinion on this matter. To sum it up, my wife really loved two things about Ney'tiri and Jake (in his human body). The Na'vi girl was tall and strong enough to be the guy's defender, his protector. But they also loved each other in a very gentle way and she cared for him a lot, even when she found his frail, crippled "real" body. Oh, obviously please remember that we'd need that oxygen mask on Jake's face. Fortunately it's mostly transparent. I'm attaching a number of pics to this e-mail - hope they'll prove useful.
