Here come tutorial about howto make watercolor look image.

It isn’t hard like you thought,

Now I come with simple way of making water color texture.

we’ll use real water color texture and this tutorial.

I pack some of watercolor texture I made.

There’re total 5 texture.

1.in this tuturial I’ll use this texture,

or you can make your own,

about color we can change it later so don’t worrry.

2.Now we’ll tweak color in photoshop.

It’s easy just pour your selected color and then change layer mode to color.

3.You’ll got this look.

It’s change color to your selected one,

or you can apply more color by using brush and paint over.

4.here is sample pic I use watercolor texture,

you’ll see I just done simple shading on character.

5.Simply drag and drop your texture on above layer,

If you want texture

inside character area just press CTRL+G to group,

but make sure that you’ve left background area in transparency,

change opacity of layer to make it’s look more natural.

5.Just do the same process for background.

Here we’re done.

MAGIC CAFE’

[MGL series]

is new series on Jamsai,focusing on fantasy realm,

and Thai teenager audient.

I thought this series quite made my day,
It’s like close to what I want to draw the most,
which fill-in my port.
Anyway althought it have to keep sweet pastel-ish,striking color,
I still feel happy to work on series,which’s good.

Thought about making better work to push the novel cover work
and manga illustration works base here to the next level,
Well,to develop our industry it’s a must,
That’s how we can shift our country’s work standard also.

It’s main reason why I still keeping do commission work for publishing,

rather than focusing on personal project only like I wanna do.
because I really wish to shift our manga-relate industry in Thai from current standard level,to something close to ‘international level’.That can raise overall Thai ppl competitiveness and awareness of develop themself to ‘professional calibur’,not just work but also attitude…

It’s reason I keep post some article,in Thai community.

Tool : Photoshop,water color.

recent commission for novel,inner illustration.
I do it more than a month I thought.

This is the ‘unused version’
because it’s too dark
to be illustration for shoujo-teen love novel,so I play with it,

real version is BLACK AND WHITE

my co-ordinator friend said it’s feel like ‘EDOGAWA RAMPO’ mystery series….

edit real version background to screentone instead and decrease amount of black.

kind of addict to detective,mysterious novel more,
not that I didn’t like love novel,but it’s just not my most favourite,
anyway if it’s good stuff I also pleasure to read.

I think I should work on anatomy more … sick in foreshortening thing.

experiment coloring stuff to work in future.

I even thought about doing real landscape model,it’s like go back in oldtime hahah combine with what I am today.

hell thing is landscape project use A0 paper almost every project,sometimes exceed A0,I remember about my thesis model it’s very big so I didn’t carry back to home,sign…[pity]…because that’s one my juniors and my friends help me mess that.I remember time I and faculty friends go to shopping at CHATUCHAK…to find model making material,fun thing is ‘TREE’…which other department didn’t have much,but landscape ‘TREE’ is one of main feature.

I am better with water color-transparence stuff but to broaden skill to other medium that’s also interesting.:)My ability past time is watercolor on paper,marker on paper or tracing paper because that’s what I use in u. project.

Sorry for disappear awhile,I’m busy with work and try to finish commission.
Plus I going to paint something outside,so here a lot of thing I add in this entry.
I’ll not disappear for a longtime for sure. ,
I stop updating my Thai Exteen blog awhile.
I’ll use there for wrote thing that I want to share opinion to public in Thai only.

cuz I’ve to continue my thing here hahahah.

It’s my brother house.I think after I’ve manage myself better
I’ll help him to paid bank for this house.
because of my home I currently living is small,
don’t have enough working space for some large scale.
My old drafting table here can’t use also.

I bought LIQUITEX basic set,and here the result be4 going to real canvas.
to said It’s first time with this medium either,
but I love how it’s react with brush and paper,I mean the pigment isn’t blend completely,
so when use brush stroke,it’s provide interesting effect.
