1.Most of your art is graphic style illustration.What’s inspire you to draw this style?
I love to wear T-shirt, and the design on the tshirt often caught my attention hence when i create my artwork , i will tried to create it in a way that will goes well as a tee design or as an illustration.
2.Do you graduate in art field?Could you please tell us your story to develop being graphic illustrator today?
No. I was a self taught illustrator. I used to be holding a 9 to 5 job not really related to art but was often tasked by my superior to create poster for events. I have always been interested in art classes back in school, and after a few years into my 9 to 5 job I decided to quit my job and follow my dream.
5.How’s illustration/graphic industry in Singapore?
Art scene in Singapore is considered healthy but young and growing. Singapore is a unique place in its own where many culture blends together, thus allowing us the unlimited possibilities to create something uniquely different.
6.How you practicing drawing?Do you have some book recommend?
I tried to sketch on photoshop/illustrator with wacom during free times. I usually read and buy book from animation movie which i feel its good for character design and such so Dreamworks or pixar art books is my recommendation.
7.I see most of your work is T-shirt graphic.In making good t-shirt illustration.
What’s thing to consider or have to think about before making illustration?
I guess its the composition of the artwork, i can’t said I’m good in making good t-shirt design or illustration but i will always consider on creating it in a way, it will look good on a tee or as an illustration.
